This volume features highlights of the various trips made by Richard Greenwood to film the Southern Region in the early 1960s.
Richard had been at college in Guildford in 1961 and remembers how impressed he was with Southern operations.
By the time Richard acquired his first cine camera in January 1963 the Southern Region Schools, Arthurs and Nelsons had all gone but there was still a huge interesting variety of interesting motive power. From Bulleid Pacifics on the main line to the elderly Wainwright H class working push pull services it’s all here!
