Enjoy this scenic driver’s eye view onboard a Scotrail class 158, working the 16.00 from Wick to Inverness on the 30th of April 2025.

Our journey starts at Wick and heads for Georgemas Junction, where we branch off for the short run to Thurso. Returning to Georgemas Junction we then travel south on the Far North Line through Forsinard and along the Strath of Kildonan to the coast at Helmsdale. Heading inland at Golspie to Lairg, before running back towards the coast at Tain and then past Invergordon before joining the Kyle line at Dingwall. Our final stretch passes Muir of Ord before arriving at Inverness.
