Surely there can be no more an exciting journey than aboard a superb Virgin Pendolino as it powers North from Euston at speeds of up to 125 miles per hour on the recently upgraded West Coast main line to Preston.

With such variety and contrast of scenery no wonder this is one of our most requested DVD cab rides ! Filmed in July 2009 this unique programme, which is presented without any distracting commentary, but with all the main points of interest captioned, includes a short section of restricted running due to the theft of signalling cable.

This super fast journey with a booked time of just over 2 hours runs over the recently upgraded West Coast Main Line, normally only stopping at Warrington and Wigan en route to Preston.

To continue the journey North to Glasgow Central be sure to look out for Tele Rail in the Cab Volume 2 which at just over two hours has all the main locations captioned and indexed, including the famous climbs to both Shap and Beattock, also without any distracting commentary.
