Description

This is a varied and interesting cross Pennine service that is full of scenic contrasts. Travel in the
cab of a Northern class 158 from York to Blackpool North.

Filmed in June 2017 before the
modernisation of the Blackpool line, our cab ride begins from York through Leeds to Bradford
Interchange.

The journey then takes us through Halifax to Hall Royd Junction where we branch off
for Copy Pit and Blackburn. The last part of the journey joins the WCML at Farrington Junction and
heads to Preston before joining the Blackpool line.
