Description

We travel with the driver on board a class 156 working the 12.18 from Fort William to Mallaig on the 22nd of May 2025.

This very scenic journey heads over the Caledonian Canal at Banavie and along the shoreline of Loch Eil, before reaching the iconic Glenfinnan viaduct. We skirt along Loch Eilt and pass through several tunnels before climbing up Beasdale bank. Then, through Arisaig and Morar before reaching the coast at Mallaig.
