The Baltic Coast Express

Join the Baltic Coast Express in Poland and witness the last steam workhorses of Europe moving passengers in remote parts of this fascinating country.  Steam action includes Classes TKT48, 0L49, TY2, 0Kl, OK22,PT47.  Then crossing the border at Brest, the Baltic Coast Express heads north through western USSR behind classes P36, L and E.

This pioneering steam extravaganza on previously restricted territory includes a vintage class 0 0-8-0and a visit to the remnants of the Estonian narrow gauge empire.  As well as a cross section of diesel and electric traction from the areas visited there are also glimpses of the tramway systems of Warsaw, Riga and Tallinn.  This programme is a captivating 60 minutes. of action with the accent on steam!  (Running time 60 minutes approx.)
