The
Gavin Morrison Collection
Volume 3
1966-1967
Gavin Morrison needs no introduction to
most railfans – his evocative photographs of British steam
during the glory days are justifiably well known and loved
throughout the world. However, few people realise that Gavin
Morrison is also a talented film cameraman, and while out
photographing steam he often turned his attention to producing
a superb high quality film record as well. The Gavin Morrison
Collection
Much of the
footage in this series has never been viewed publicly before –
and certainly not in this unique form. The Gavin Morrison
Collection is a highly original chronological series, spanning
the years from 1962 to the early years of preservation after
the end of mainline steam in 1968. These superb programmes
give a fresh and stunning new insight into the glorious years
of steam, and will quickly grow to become one of the most
important archive series ever produced.
